Hey Everyone!
Welcome to the second annual Spastic Paraplegia 5k Walk, Run, and Roll event! My amazing wife, Catherine Perrino, suffers from a rare disease called Heresitary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP). This is a neuromuscular disease that causes progressive weakness and stiffness in leg muscles. This is caused by mutations in genes that affect the nerves that run from the brain to the lower back.
There is no cure for this disease, which is why we need your help! This money is desperately needed to fund research so that treatments, therapies, and eventually a cure can be found.
