My wife, Mary, was diagnosed a few years ago with Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP). It is a rare disease, regressive and not dissimilar from MS or ASL; it affects mobility and presents many challenges. There is no cure. We recently attended an HSP conference/symposium in Nashville and were able to speak directly to the doctors and scientists who are working on a cure. It was an eye opening few days and I am confident that there will be a cure in the future. Please join me in supporting the Spastic Paraplegia Foundation, Inc. It is the good people, like us, in the world that make a real difference.
