I lost my balance and walked with a spastic gate about age 40. HSP is progressive but luckily slowly. I can still walk but with a walker as balance is nonexistent. I exercise and that really helps. There is no cure yet but they are working to find one. Any dollars you can give will help. Help the Spastic Paraplegia Foundation, Inc
